A Climate in Crisis: We’re Running Out Of Time To Run Out Of Time!

We liberals and progressives have learned over the decades that you can’t even scare Republicans into understanding the truth about the climate crisis. Campaigns of fear only seem to get conservatives to vote for autocrats, and buy AR-15s that they don’t need. Although I nearly understand Lindsey Graham’s fear-based logic about the zombie apocalypse, and rugged, swarthy zombies breaking into his bomb shelter to ravage him, and the sheep he cuddles too much.
Such rantings show that conservatives clearly have a tenuous connection to both sanity and science. We have garnered about as much as we can from their side; Americans like you, and me, must strike out on our own.
