America Never Caused That Harm.

American Exceptionalism is innocent of all charges made by angry others.

.

No terrorist has ever lashed out at America for what we have done to hurt people in their countries. Why would anyone from another nation think we could ever be entangled in anything harmful to them? It is only intrinsically terrible people, devoid of capitalism powered Christianized styles of overwhelming retribution, who do these bad things to us. And, they would have terrorized us even if we had sat at home the last 245 years with our hands folded in prayer. Clearly I do not need to go on after that complete and eviscerating denial, but I have much more evidence of our pure nationalistic hearts and minds, and our godlike restraint in utilizing unilateral or extrajudicial violence on those deserving it.

.

That kind of denial will stop others from defining us, speciously and without merit, as imperialistic at any time, or place (we left standing). Of course, Americans never need to prove our love of humanity to any foreigner (since we have multiple warheads aimed at your pathetic nation right now).

.

There are many people in America (obviously, not real Americans) and around the world who want to use our economic methods as a cudgel in their war against our good name (purchased at great cost of the foreigner’s resources and lives). That said, capitalism has never been as bad for their countries as it could have been, if they would not have allowed us to plant our gouge and grab flag the first time. (Don’t make US send in the public/private partnership punitive paramilitary patriots!)

.

More importantly, we bring these indigenous peoples out of the stone age, and stuff them in tenements and sweatshops like at the end of the 19th century. While the little people are always harmed very badly in the early days, in a generation or two, many eke out an existence worthy of a modern third world nation. Unless they fall into disarray, after we have gutted their nation’s resources like we did to most of Central America. Bully. Bully! Teddy Roosevelt. Then there was the Philippines, a gruesome yet purifying affair of imperialistic and capitalistic power grabbing that gave the uncivilized exactly what we required.

.

Our support of dictators is so unwavering we must over throw governments to get them in office: The Shah of Iran, Carlos Castillo Armas, and Augusto Pinochet. Of course, their democratically elected leaders, Mosaddegh (Iran), Jacobo Árbenz (Guatemala), and Allende (Chile), were worse. Each one of the latter three men were about helping the poor gain more power, which is disgraceful, and injurious to capitalism. It was much better for a few Americans, and the dictator and his cronies, to make a lot of money than to spread the wealth. Who could be against that?

.

Once the Soviet Union fell, American capitalists were in there like gang makers to sell off their state companies to a few oligarchs. Hey, as long as a few people make off with 90+% of the wealth, we have achieved righteous success! Now who could fault capitalism for that? Yes, most Russians, but that is no worse than what capitalism did to most Americans and many Europeans after the 2008 crash. Clinton abetting a continued Serb reign of terror over Muslim Bosnians had no bearing on our position in the world, as the kindest and least religiously parochial nation in the world.

.

Quartering soldiers from another nation in your land is fine with Americans. If the Chinese wanted military bases here, most Americans would welcome it. Such a development would breed no discontent, or anger as many American patriots are calm and contemplative individuals. So they would not understand Osama bin Laden’s reaction to American bases in his country. Capitalist imperialism and dictator kings work very well together. Additionally, how many mosques in Saudi Arabia have the Saudis profiled, and rooted out their fundamentalist craziness? Yet they are likely the spreaders of hate about Jewish and Christian infidels. But sure, give the Saudis many, more powerful weapons, and watch a Khomeini type takeover occur in the kingdom in a decade. From Shah “the butcher” Bin Salman to Khomeini “the fundamentalist” Bin Laden II, as steroided history beats-off and repeats itself.

.

I have a mea culpa. After reviewing the record of Saudi Arabia, and their war on Yemen, I see that killing over a hundred thousand civilians with our help and weapons can never be considered as terrorist fodder. If Yemenis ever terrorize Americans, I will stand by America as the true land of the free because we can blow to smithereens any enemy (or help our humanitarian dictator friends do it). It is like freedom and kingdom are synonymous. Amazing!

.

There is no way the failure of the Arab Spring had anything to do with the groundwork America’s gunboat and oil barge diplomacy undermined for over a century. Egypt’s former leader Hosni Mubarak was supported by the United States for thirty years. He was known for his imprisonment of many political prisoners. I am sure no foreigner could resent us for that. There is no way supporting Israel over the Palestinians with barely a peep about illegal settlements, land grabs, prisoner torture, and killings of protesters by Israelis would never give anyone the impression that we play favorites when it comes to our humanitarian perspective.

.

A unprovoked attack on Iraq and the hundreds of thousands killed has no bearing on terrorist attacks that occurred after the war in the U.S. or Europe. Americans are exonerated from retribution because we act only on a very strict ethical basis when going to war, and torturing people. That ethic is changing the names of what we call terrible things, and getting Colin Powell to prop up our narrative for spending trillions to kill foreigners.

.

Of course, our 20 year war against Afghanistan, the Taliban, and Pakistani fundamentalist Muslims, is not an overreach of calamitous proportions, and significant human suffering. Those foreigners know it was merely a police action to get Al-Qaeda, and Osama bin Laden, and bring them to (billions of dollars in bombings, drone deaths, and bullet in the head) justice. How could any of this be misconstrued by foreigners as wrong, and worthy of reprisal attacks? Anyone to suggest such a thing as valid, is stretching credulity as far as Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney have.

.

More recently we have allowed the killing of a journalist, and the killing of a democracy by siding with monarchy and autocracy. MbS of Saudi Arabia, and Erdoğan of Turkey, are both men of unwarranted and unwise scrutiny (if you know what’s good for you) have been doing our bidding for years. How could we turn against such barbaric friends?

.

It would be difficult for me to come up with any more examples, unless I tried to, so I will not agree with the critics who easily besmirch the image of the United States through a mountain of facts. Making a mole hill out of a mountain has been our skill, creating fertile ground for American Exceptionalism fucking over the truth and consequences of our actions.

.

Conclusion.

Some may think my sarcasm steps over a line, and that I am justifying terrorism. Ironically, justifying terrorism cannot be put in an essay. Essays have never created the foundation for any terrorism ever. Foundations are created by actual causes developed over years and decades. Ideas cannot breed terroristic activities, they are seeded and bred by the conditions people find themselves in, where desperation leads to combustion.

.

Sometimes even higher taxes, and a king ignoring your entreaties, can lead to terrorism, then revolution. Similarly, incessant abuse of those without much power, and ignoring it, can lead to ongoing terrorism, unless the foundation is rebuilt, correcting the concerns of the great majority of people who are being, or sincerely believe they are being, threatened. Sarcasm is a way to contrast and compare. Rather than blame the writer of words, look deeper into the actions, contradictions, and fabrications that American Exceptionalism strives to gloss over, or cover up.
