My wife went to the physical therapist for a hip problem she was having, after she started to run with me, and do some 5Ks. Susan found out later it was one leg slightly shorter than the other. But anyway, she was brought into a room quickly, and as the male nurse or PT turned to leave, she swore she heard him say, everything except your socks (take off or?)!
She stood there for too many seconds wondering if she heard right. And stunned, tried to remember why she was there. Luckily, she figured it out, for a pole dancing audition, and there she was in her socks, stretching, getting ready to perform as the PT came in, and….
No, that is likely what I said. Yes, she made the right choice. After wiping the sweat from her brow, Susan just took off her shoes and socks.
