One part of a much longer, future essay on nearly every fallacy that most Republicans, some Liberals, and-or White supremacists support and promote.

Illiberalism has been in the news. Black college students are demanding that the status quo shut up, and kowtow, oh my! The numbers of students and professors who have made these demands are so huge their presence on the head of pin has scared conservatives silly. Okay, maybe their percentage numbers have been small, but the damage they have done must not be discounted, said the head of a pin. Illiberalism is provided a fertile ground by illiberalism. The exaggerated blame being placed on the college scene is the height of hypocrisy, as I explain:

Liberal do-gooders are going to get flak from the political, and ideological right in almost every instance, whether perceived as superficial, destructive, or those actually getting something good done. Unless of course they have some stake in the issue, which is very infrequent, and usually narrow in scope and self-interest, e.g. feints towards prison reform. I use the slur do-gooders — which is hard to imagine as derogatory — since do-evilers would be the opposite — and because my parents were called this…
