White people are programmed. We have known very little about anything but that white is normal, everything else is strange and likely not good. The Constitution gave us the right to be ignorant of others.

The founders hardly liked anyone. They barely gave anyone the right to vote. Property ownership and church affiliation were allowed to be enforced for decades in half the states. Then all white men at some point.

Unfortunately, states' rights was given its power by the Constitution and by association slavery, also protected by capitalism/economics, and slavery's racist future cousins Jim Crow and mass incarceration. We are not based on universal rights. States have been able to trample on people with or without Constitutional or Supreme Court approval.

Even the ERA has enough states to ratify but Mitch McConnell stopped the amendment process from being restarted. No surprise, but that is states' rights again making a mockery of human rights, in 2021! And making lynching a federal offense just happened last year!!! That's so fukt!
