White people have liked sitting on the fence so much that they thought it was highly ambitious for them to merely agree that we have a White supremacy problem. Doing anything more, digging up the roots of it, and getting hands dirty, was like being in some dystopian movie.

We are no better at fighting the power than we have ever been. We rise up here and there, but it is never enough to sustain the fight for equality. Post Civil War Reconstruction petered out the same way. States' rights always seemed too valid for us to continue fighting against our demonic white supremacist cousins, and our own White privilege was ignored as we got on with our own lives oblivious to the suffering of other Americans not in our ignorance as bliss White state.

Chauvin's murder trial will hopefully wake us up enough to put on some real armor for the long term.

But… Hmm.

Mostly serious stuff w/ bits of sarcastic fluff. I wish more could be told yet bios have room 4 short & bold. You’ll see less length isn’t my greatest strength.
