Why Conservatives Cannot Change.

As a liberal from a conservative family, I have bona fides for this conjecture.

1964: Only four of us kids so far, Ann, Laura, Margaret, and I, with Becca not quite a twinkle.

What exactly are bona fides? Well, I am not sure. However, my parents died as Republicans, so I have, at least, as much incomplete knowledge of conservatives as anyone else that is exactly like me. Ironically, both my parents died before Obama was elected, which means they were never Trumpers, and they were never never Trumpers either. Anyways, my mom died in 2006, and my dad within two months of Obama’s win. I have always figured dad died at that point because he wanted his letter from the president for his service in WWII, to be from a Republican not a Democrat.

.

Then at Highland cemetery, where Knute Rockne is also buried, a 21 round salute for a lifelong Norte Dame football fan alumnus, and US Navy Veteran!

.

To back up a bit more, my parents started out as Democrats, since they voted for JFK, their first presidential election as a married couple. Both my dad and Jack being WWII vets must have been part of the reason he voted Democrat, and my mom kinda looked like Jackie O. Of course, the biggest reason was likely because Jack was Catholic, like my Polish father, and Irish mother.

Mostly serious stuff w/ bits of sarcastic fluff. I wish more could be told yet bios have room 4 short & bold. You’ll see less length isn’t my greatest strength.
